10.5 lb Common Carp caught from The Cut at a Kingfisher water, Abbots Court Hoo, in June 1992. I caught this nice Common on the surface using double dog biscuit on a surface controller with 10lb main line. It took over 15 minutes to land but was worth it. I was working shift at the time and I believe it was a Monday morning before I went to work. I caught two Tench the same day using conventional float tackle on maggot and worm.
