9.5lb Mirror Carp caught at an old Kingfisher lake at Horsmonden. This was taken on a 15 mm tutti fruity boilie close in and it nearly pulled my rod into the lake. It was caught in 1991 on a weeks holiday visiting all Kingfisher lakes in June. We have unfortunately lost this lake now due to a rat problem. In my opinion this was one of the best lakes we had. There were some lovely Roach in this lake that could be caught on the surface. I never once blanked at this venue, at any time of the year except once when I arrived and the lake was frozen solid ! Great venue for youngsters.
